The Story of Praline

nov 22 2018

A praline is a smooth and sweet substance made by boiling nuts in sugar and grinding the mixture. This mixture is used in our handmade chocolate cups using a variety of flavours. We don’t use any artificial flavours, colours or preservatives so all you taste is the pure luxury of creamy nut mix.

This melt in the mouth texture can be found in a variety of our chocolates, click here to see some of them.

Belgium pralines, were first made in the year 1912. A chocolate shell that could be filled with cream or nut pastes was invented. This in essence became the real Belgium chocolate: the praline. Belgian pralines are chic and elegant and are like no other found in Europe.

Not only do we make praline filled chocolates but our praline mix at Crevin is sold onto bakers who use it for its high quality and unique flavour for their Michelin rated desserts.

This Christmas if you’re looking for a special gift, give the gift of praline.
